Google officially today unveiled Android 4.3 with multi-user profiles. Codenamed Jelly Bean, the version shipped with the just launched new Nexus 7 tablet. The latest Android version was introduced today at an event held in San Francisco by Google’s senior vice president for Android, Chrome and Google Apps, Sundar Pichai.
The version supports Bluetooth Low Energy and Open GL ES 3.0 support, which Hugo Barra rightly identifies as “a big deal for game developers.” The latest version will be available for the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, original Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 later today, with later on by the Google Edition HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 “soon.”
