Google announced an update to its Gmail service on Thursday allowing you to create Google Calendar event straight from your email. This new feature will be rolling to everyone with the English (US) language in their account starting from today and will continue for “over the next week.”

The update means if you do a lot of scheduling over email, then now it is a little bit easier for you to create events directly from your Gmail. Now, all you need to do is to click on dates and times and you will schedule the conference call or lunch date without ever leaving Gmail.

Once you clicking on one of these underlined dates, your will be able to preview your schedule and can change the title, date or time of the event. On clicking “Add to Calendar,” you can add the event to your calendar and the same way the calendar event will include a link back to the original email.
