Google

Giving users a real flexibility, Google today announced that it now allows copying and pasting direct between Gmail and Google Docs but also remember the feature available only in Chrome. You can copy slides from one presentation to another, or even take tables from a spreadsheet and paste it into a Gmail message and the same way formatting can be done. The copy/paste function can be easily accessible using keyboard shortcuts or from the right-click menu.

Here is how Google explains the improvement:

Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides let you copy and paste text and images between all of your documents, spreadsheets, and presentations — even if you’re going from one type of file to another. And if you copy an image from a desktop application on your computer, you can paste it right into your document, spreadsheet, or presentation. You can use keyboard shortcuts, the right-click menu, or the web clipboard menu to copy and paste in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
