Google Improves Flight Search On Mobile, Making It Easier To ‘Customize’ Your Trips

Planning a trip to an unexpected location is what interests most of us and what if the Google – the search giant plays a bigger role in searching, finding and arranging the things – Google announced in its blog post that it has added more functionality to the mobile version of flight search, bringing in some much-needed features.

The company launched the Flight Search back in September last year, and since from then it is keep on working on to improve the features, increasing coverage and even making it more easier to find flight results directly from google.com on your desktop – with a pace to improve further the company is making more easier to find flights departing from the US on your mobile device.

From now onwards, when you do a text-string search for a flight say like “flights from New York to London in April” you’ll get results along with the available flights listings that allow you to customize them right on the page – but the best one is that you can change dates, customize the options right from the results screen, instead of having to progress somewhere else.

The Flight Search feature on mobile browsers:

  • Find flights quickly with results that load instantly and a list that’s easy to scan.
  • Discover places to go on a map – see ticket prices for various destinations by surfing the map. You can filter by price, airline, or flight duration.
  • Find the best time to go – Click the calendar icon to see what dates will get you low prices.
