Google announced through its blog post that the search giant has experimenting with a search box in Chrome’s new tab page, keeping queries in the omnibox. The Chrome team now working on to test different variations of Chrome’s New Tab page (NTP), which allowing user’s default search provider to add a search box or otherwise customize the NTP.

On finding further, a one main picture also comes in front that many users like the way to navigate to their search engine’s home page in order to initiate a search instead as the major goal is to save people time by letting them search and navigate the web faster. Also, a new way of search engines to display the user’s search terms right in the omnibox, the company also working on, letting it avoid the need for a second search box on the result page.
