Google Brings Legacy Browser Support, Cloud-based Management To Chrome For Business

Google today announced the two new features for Chrome for Business which will make it easier to use Chrome at work. The two features include Legacy Browser Support for companies, which means the companies who wants to use rely on custom web application built for older browsers. The deployment of new modern time’s browser will help bolster IT security, reduce support costs and improve browser speed and usability for employees.

The second feature is the cloud-based management of Chrome for Google Apps for Business and Education consumers, which means whether employees are working from the company’s desktop or their personal laptop, they will be able to access default applications, custom themes, or a curated app web store as soon as when they sign-in to Chrome with their work account. The cloud-based management will allow IT administrator to customize over 100 Chrome policies and preferences for their employees from the Google Admin panel while non-Google apps customers who are interested can sign up here.
