Google Announces First Project Glass Hackathon This January And February

Google has announced it’s first-ever Project Glass hackathon which being scheduled for coming this month and next month. The hackathon will take place in San Francisco, from January 28 to 29 and in New York, from February 1 to 2. Google sees the event as, “the first opportunity for a group of developers to get together and develop for Glass”. The deadline to register for the first event is this coming Friday, January 18.

The event which are meant for developers i.e. Google Explorers if we say in Google’s own words, will allow them to understand and feel the Google Mirror API and can develop projects for Project Glass. The event which will start with giving an introduction to the Glass product, the Mirror API and development, the second i.e. the last day will include demos with guest judges (still not known) to make an appearances.
