Sony yesterday made big news after acquisition of $380 million Gaikai service, adding more insight into in it and sharing the reason of purchase, Andrew House, Sony Computer Entertainment’s President and Group CEO in an interview with The Wall Street Journal said that Gaikai’s technology service will be used by Sony on its own gaming machines, but still has not ruled out expanding its technology to other products either. The acquisition will let Sony establish a new cloud service using Gaikai’s technology, which allows for high-quality, fast interactive cloud-streaming of games onto variety devices via an internet connection and this is what House confirmed.
