From July, Apple Retail Stores Employees Will Get At Least 25% Hike In Salary

There are one-to-many reasons one can love Apple and the latest is that Apple Retail Store employees getting up to 25% raise as well as even more on their salaries, depending on store, market and performance, Dow Jones reports. Employees began learning of the raises in face-to-face meetings with managers last week. The raise in pay will begin appearing in paychecks around the July mid.

Apple’s Retail Store Stats:

Apple Store staffers are typically paid about $9 to $15 an hour at the sales level, and up to about $30 an hour as Geniuses. Apple ended its fiscal 2011 year with 357 stores, about a third of which operating outside the U.S. In 2009, it had 273 stores, roughly a quarter of which were operating outside the U.S. Accordingly, the company’s full-time equivalent staff has more than doubled, to 36,000 employees last year, compared to 16,500 in 2009. And sales at Apple’s retail stores have more than doubled, to about $14 billion last year from nearly $6.7 billion in 2009.
