France Telecom Promises To Invest 30 To 50 Million Euros In Dailymotion

Following the meltdown of Yahoo’s Dailymotion deal last month, the French telecom CEO has promised to the video sharing site that it will make an investment of between 30 to 50 million Euros in the company, reports Reuters.

It was last month only when French Government shaken the whole of deal and stated in its conclusion that it would be a real shame to let it (the Dailymotion) go. The video sharing company is owned by Orange which turn comes under as France Telecom while the French government owes 27% stake in France Telecom.

France Telecom’s Stephane Richard in an interview said that “the door is not closed” for Yahoo, but as it appears that the company has moved away with a swing. “I think that perhaps we could still hope to continue the talks … even if we did not agree on some points.”
