Trench Coat

There’s no denying a lot of really cool fashion designs and fashion bloggers exist when it comes to jackets and outerwear. We’re going to take a look at some interesting and cool jackets that will allow you to make a fashion statement and more.

Trench Coat

The trench coat has been around a long time, but it keeps getting better. If you live in the big city or just want to be able to keep the elements out wherever you go while keeping your nice clothes looking nice underneath, this is the way to go. To mix it up some you can go with a leather trench coat which can make you look tougher than you are in real life.

Varsity Jacket

The classic varsity jacket is another style that we have to mention. Usually seen in high school worn by teenagers, this jacket was a fashion statement that told others in school a lot about your personality and who you were as a person. If you really liked a girl, you gave her your varsity jacket to wear, showing the world that you were both very close and meant a lot to each other.

Bomber Jacket

The bomber jacket is another classic jacket fashion that’s still around. These jackets were designed with leather to help protect bomber pilots as they flew high in the sky where the weather can change quickly. Durable and rugged, this style of jacket eventually made its way into the general population, with many would-be weekend adventurers wearing one to look tough or cool.

Bullet Proof Jacket

Similar to a bomber jacket in some ways, a bullet proof jacket is one that has been designed to stop some small caliber bullets. A lot of different designs have been created over the years, with each new generation of fabrics offering more and more protection from some small firearms.

Jean Jacket

Another popular choice is the jean jacket. Made from denim – usually blue but sometimes black or even white – these give anyone wearing them a tougher look. The original jeans jacket didn’t evolve much over the years, but some did add some padding (white wool) to the collar, which makes the jacket a little more distinctive.

Members Only Jacket

I have to admit that as a young child in the 1980s, I at first thought that you did have to be a member in some special club in order to get this jacket. Okay, you can stop laughing at me now. In all seriousness, this jacket just screams 80’s. The only other type of jacket that can compare is the red Michael Jackson jacket with all the zippers. Now that was a leather jacket – one that many people had to have for themselves.
