With Mozilla earlier announced its plan to unveil its Firefox OS devices to consumers in Brazil, Columbia, Hungary, Mexico, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Spain and Venezuela, interestingly the first Firefox OS-based device will be out in the market by a Spanish upstart called Geeksphone. Isn’t sounds dazzling as it’s not the big giants, including ZTE, Alcatel, LG, Huawei and Sony bringing the device first in the market.
According to company’s site, the two – earlier announced– devices are in picture – the Keon and Peak will be available for dispatch anywhere on planet. The Keon will cost €91 plus taxes, while the Peak will cost €149. The devices being powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 1Ghz with UMTS 2100/1900/900 (3G HSPA) and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 (2G EDGE) on board. The phones further feature screen of 3.5-inch HVGA Multitouch with 3 MP Camera, 4GB ROM, 512 MB RAM, MicroSD, Wifi N, Light and proxmity Sensor, G-Sensor, GPS, MicroUSB, 1580 mAh battery and comes unlocked.
