Facebook Is Reportedly In Final Stage Talks To Acquire Navigation Traffic App Maker Waze For About $1 Billion

The social giant reportedly in talks with traffic and navigation app maker Waze for an acquisition which being reportedly a billion dollar worth. The acquisition, according to Israeli’s business publication Calcalist (via TNW) is in the final stage of negotiation while the price the Facebook put on table for the acquisition is between $800 million and $1 billion.

Interestingly, there is no doubt that many of us even heard of Waze for first time, while many of those who even heard don’t know much of it. Waze is a social traffic and navigation app which being based on a large community of tens of millions of rivers around the world, all sharing real time road information. Analyzing from last year stats, drivers shared 90 million reports.

Well, as of now, not much information either of company bring it out, but believe if there is even a single percent truth in rumor, it will be out soon completely.
