Facebook Unveils 60 Apps Under Its OpenGraph Platform Expansion Plans

Facebook, an 800+ million users social network, at its ongoing media event announced its Open Graph program plans where it has teamed up with 60 developer partners. The apps it will bring to its users’ timelines.

The company has teamed to roll out the apps for its users that will encourage to tell their friends more that what they’re doing, like buying a scarf at Fab.com, donating to a favourite charity on Causes, researching a new travel destination on TripAdvisor or highlighting a new hobby on Pinterest and much more.

Earlier today, the company announced its newest improvements to Facebook communication and is going to rollout a streaming media platform and corresponding buttons to boost sharing – “Read. Watch. Listen.

The speculations are also that the company is making all its “big announcements” at its f8 developers conference as it is gearing itself for the giant $100 billion IPO, which is expected to be released in late may.
