The social giant will roll out new features next week for certain advertisers, letting them to enable targeted advertising based on phone numbers and email addresses, reports TechCrunch. The feature allows advertisers to target their ads to customers based on contact information that the advertiser has already collected. The feature which was first spotted by Inside Facebook says that the feature requires advertisers to upload their own in-house customer lists (can be uploaded in either plain text or CSV format, with data being hashed before stored at Facebook’s end). The feature will soon be able to roll out to all users having access to Facebook Premium.
