Irish Broadcaster RTE is reporting that the social giant is adding 100 new job positions to its Ireland office as a part of its ongoing expansion in Europe, bringing the total employee count in the country to 400 people. The new positions includes corporate communications, developer relations, systems, user operations, sales and lots more showing up on Facebook’s recruitment page.
“ICT is a key sector targeted in the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs,” Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton said. “Today’s announcement of a significant expansion by one of the biggest companies on the internet, with the creation of 100 high-end jobs, is a major endorsement of the tech environment in Dublin and further confirmation of our city’s status as the internet capital of Europe.”
