Facebook Rolling Out ‘What You’re Doing To Status Update’ Feature In The US

Facebook has announced that starting from this week; it will be rolling out a whole new feature by which people can express what they are watching, reading, listening to, eating, drinking or even how they are feeling in their status updates.

Say, to start with, if you want to share that you are watching a movie like Jurassic Part, you will update your status and your post will contain the movie icon as well as a link to the movie’s page while Jurassic Park will be added to your timeline’s Movies section.

TV shows, movies and books appear in those sections of your timeline. Over the top, these updates and the stories will be added to your timeline, respective of your privacy settings you choose for your post. The update will be rolled out in the US in the coming weeks, while there are no words on rolling up of updates on global scale.
