A report on Bloomberg suggests that the social giant is planning for a whole new 15-second “TV-style commercials” to its News Feed. The new ads will be launched later this year and will be priced at whooping $1 million to $2.5 million per day cost, giving Facebook a new revenue stream add to its social network.
Although AdAge back in April reported that Facebook was in search for the new ad product around to agencies and finally with this report, it confirmed that what’s the world’s largest social networking company is planning for. Interesting is on calculations that a $2.5 million per day price will create a huge boosting for Facebook’s bottoming line.
