Facebook Brings New Open Graph Tools, Now You Can Create Rich User Stories

Facebook starting from today rolling out new tools which will make it easier for you to set up your app’s Open Graph stories and timeline collections. Starting with introducing you to the update, the company now allow publishing of common actions in a better way i.e. all you need to do is to simply select the SDK which you can use and paste in the sample code, which was provided for each of action type.

The social giant also simplified tools which will help you create custom action and object types more easily, means it allows you to preview all the stories that your app can publish to News Feed. Once your story’s configuration completely, simply clicks on “Get Code” in your Open Graph dashboard and paste it into your app to publish your action with the logged in user.

To offer more, users can now add their app’s content to dedicated collections on their timeline and About page. But, also remember you will need to have your app’s News Feed stories and timeline collections submitted for approval first to meet social giant’s quality guidelines.
