Facebook All Set To Launch Payvment, Causes and 30 Others Apps For Your Timeline – Starting From Tomorrow

In September last year f8, Facebook announced in partnership with different domains companies who would develop Open Graph Timeline Apps. Similar reports are coming today that Facebook on Wednesday will launch its Open Graph applications that it first debuted last year. The companies who developed these apps include Airbnb, Ticketmaster, Payvment, Causes and 30 others.

Facebook last year in December informed developers that it would start approving new Open Graph variants to appear in the news feed, Ticker and Timeline from this month. Apps using “read an article”, “listened to a song”, and “watched a video”, but from tomorrow (Wednesday PST time) a whole new set of things will appear. Company also encourages more to unpartnered developers to submit their apps for approval.

The company has invited press conference today to unveil this new feature in an event in San Francisco, confirmed AllThingsD. The conference will be going to be one of the biggest of its own before it files its IPO that is due for late May – as the period of “stay quiet” starts for Facebook.

Well, earlier also, we got a news that, Facebook is hosting “something” on Wednesday 18 in an invite-only event in San Francisco and now with such press conference event coming up all of sudden it indicate what the world largest social networking website is gearing up for.
