Dell Unveils Haswell-Powered Laptops And Desktops: Latitude 6540, OptiPlex 9020 And XE2

With Intel just announced its Haswell core processor, the computer maker Dell has unveiled Haswell-powered laptops and desktops for professionals. The company today announced new machines which all are powered by 4th generation Intel Core processors including the recently announced Dell Precision T1700 workstations.

Starting with OptiPlex 9020 and All-in-One, the machine is Dell’s most powerful commercial desktop featuring the world’s most manageable Intel vPro enabled desktop. The OptiPlex 9020 can be cloud enabled with having the Dell Cloud Desktop feature.

The second in list is Latitude E6540 is the most secure laptop in the industry, the company claims. The Latitude E6540 guards your data with endpoint security solution including comprehensive encryption, strong authentication and malware protection.

The OptiPlex XE2 features an ultra-long lifecycle and the world’s best management capabilities. The Latitude E6540 laptop, OptiPlex 9020 and OptiPlex XE2 desktops will be available in the coming weeks.
