Dell Plans To Release New Enterprise Tablet On Window 8’s Release Date

We know that Dell is having the plans for the consumer-focused tablet for the current year and with the latest to come up in the market the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, the company is planning to come up with its tablet with Windows 8 “enterprise tablet” on the very same day the Microsoft’s new operating system will make its debut.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Dell’s CEO Michael Dell told that in the current market scenario there was strong demand for a secure Windows tablet that will works with all the Windows applications. We recently seen Dell said that the company is no longer a PC company, instead it is an IT company, emphasising its enterprise support to a great large levels.

Interesting to note, soon after the company said that it is no longer a PC company, “We’re seeing strong consumer and business demand for the new XPS 13 – a system that is unlike anything else on the market today,” said Michael Tatelman, Dell Vice President and General Manager of Americas Consumer states in a release. “The XPS 13 demands attention, crossing the realm between work and play, packing powerful technology into a small, portable package and delivering enterprise-friendly protection and security. It’s the ultimate mobile device.”

Dell’s Asia division head in a separate interview said the company would still work towards releasing tablets and smartphones based on Android platform, but will the time as soon as Windows 8 will make its debut in the market to the public, the company would focus on leading the market in Windows 8 based tablets.
