Cisco Bet On Bring Video Content Over Its $5 Billion Israel’s NDS Deal

We yesterday reported that an Israel company called as NDS, which specializes in developing software for multi-channel television networks, is in advance stage of acquisition by Cisco System on the deal which is worth $5 billion. The networking giant showed eagerness over the deal in context on to deliver video content to cable set-top boxes and other devices. NDS’s software helps power cable and satellite-TV providers, which use it to run digital video recorders and set-top boxes, while also deploying it to deliver video content to a range of different devices.
