Chinese Telco Huawei Accused Of Supplying HP Equipment To Iran

Chinese Telco Company Huawei has been accused of supplying Hewlett-Packard’s equipment to Iran in late 2010, reports Reuters. As according to US-imposed sanctions, the country law does not allow US companies from exporting computer equipment to Iran in order to deter its nuclear plans.

Documents obtained by Reuters revealed an equipment price list containing Huawei logo, noting that the list request a server, 20 disk arrays, 22 switches and software, altogether totalling 1.3 million euros.

The document also revealed that MCI already having previously agreed to or installed HP equipment, including 22 servers, 8 disk arrays and 13 switches. Together, the complete price list comes to 19.9 million euros.
