China’s SINA Reports Its Q3 Results: Net Revenues Was $152.4 Million, Net Income Was $9.9 Million, $0.14 EPS

China’s online media company SINA has announced its unaudited financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012. The company reported the net revenues of $152.4 million, increased 17% year over year. Non-GAAP net revenues increased 18% year over year to $147.7 million. Net income attributable to SINA was $9.9 million, or $0.14 diluted net income per share attributable to SINA. Non-GAAP net income attributable to SINA was $11.7 million, or $0.17 non-GAAP diluted net income per share attributable to SINA.

Advertising revenues grew 19% year over year to $120.6 million, while the non-advertising revenues increased 9% year over year to $31.8 million. Non-GAAP non-advertising revenues increased 10% year over year to $27.1 million, exceeding the Company’s guidance between $25.0 million and $26.0 million. Non-GAAP non-advertising revenues other than MVAS grew 150% year over year to $8.0 million.
