China’s Internet B2B Transactions Market Now Worth $466.7 Billion

According to a report by Sina Tech, Business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce transactions in China generated a total of 2.95 trillion yuan ($466.7 billion) during the first half of 2012, representing a 13 percent year-on-year growth. The report further suggests that during the period of six months ended June; B2B companies exceeded 16.5 million in total numbers, letting the service operators making a total of 7.45 billion yuan ($1.2 billion) in revenue. Talking about market share, Alibaba top the B2B market share chart with total 41.5 percent share, while the top eight e-commerce platform providers constituted a total of 67.1 percent. The Chinese market currently having 10,950 platform operators, which is a 7 percent year-on-year growth.
