China’s Baidu Working On To Find The Right Business Model For The Mobile Internet, Says CEO

According to recent report on Bloomberg, internet giant Baidu put up a total of 25 percent of its R&D into mobile as compared to that of the increased in phone-based internet activity in the country China. The company’s CEO Robin Li said that China’s biggest web companies are still away from making money from mobile and he’s one among those who are experimenting with business models.

“I’m in no hurry to figure that out because we know there’s lots of room for improvement” in mobile advertisements, Li said. “It’s very important for us to find the right business model for the mobile Internet,” he said. “We know users love the mobile Internet and we have to go with them and we have to develop things they want.”
