China Unicom’s Now Counts 200,000 iPhone 5 Reservation In Mere 3 Days

We reported two days back that China Unicom’s count on reserving a total of 100,000 iPhone 5 orders in the first day, the company through its official Sina Weibo microblog Thursday has announced that the total order number it received now counts for more than 200,000 in mere three days.

The company asks consumers who are eager to purchase the new iPhone have to pay a minimum deposit of RMB 5,899 i.e. $947 for the 16GB version, which is higher than the actual cost of the phone, but will also refund back to the consumers depend on their length of contract with the company. An end user have to shell out $1107 for the 32GB version and $1268 for the 64GB version.
