China Mobile Hong Kong Selected Ericsson To Build TD-LTE Network

ZDNet reporting that China Mobile Hong Kong has selected Ericsson in a big to expand their commercial LTE network, the network will be expanded as 4G LTE technology. Ericsson who is already the sole supplier for China Mobile Hong Kong’s LTE bags this new opportunity. Under the agreement, Ericsson will provide the TD-LTE radio frequency access network, network management services, expand and upgrade the EPC network.

“We chose Ericsson, a global leader in the LTE space, as our TD-LTE network partner,” said Sean Lee, Director and CEO of China Mobile Hong Kong. “By partnering with Ericsson and maximizing our spectrum asset, we will build a converged LTE FDD/TDD network that gives our customers an even better 4G experience.”
