According to a report by Chinese publication The People’s Daily it seems like China’s war against online porn taken another big turn with closing down 225 websites, 4,000 Web channels and columns and 30,000 blogs and microblogs which as per the authority was found accused of “disseminating obscene and vulgar information”.

This is one big part in line of government efforts on aiming for cutting down on porn over the Chinese internet, although there is no clear sight which says how the government officials count on between websites/channels/blogs. No doubt on why and what makes Chinese authorities to target porn in the country as after all it does not allow the western websites – likely of Facebook and Twitter to make a clear path entry in the country.
