Canon today announced its third quarter 2012 results, ended September 2012 results. The company reported revenue totaled ¥799.9 billion ($10.3 billion), a decrease of 12.8% from the year-ago period. Net sales for the nine months ended September 30, 2012 totaled ¥2,528.4 billion ($32.415 billion), a year-on-year decrease of 2.5%. Basic net income attributable to Canon stockholders per share for the quarter was ¥43.15 ($0.55), a decrease of ¥21.28 ($0.27) compared with the corresponding quarter of the previous year, and ¥138.48 ($1.78) for the first nine months of 2012, a year-on-year decrease of ¥14.94 ($0.19). Well, this is not it, the company has not projected good either for the next quarter sales.
