Eurogamer reports that the animation reel of a Sony’s former employee has revealed footage of cancelled as well as unannounced PlayStation 3 game. The employee was a former member of staff at Sony Cambridge Studio. The showreel by animator Martin Binfield features footage from games like the original Heavenly Sword, LittleBigPlanet for PSP, Medievil: Resurrection, 24: The Game, and GhostHunter. A number of shelved games also make an appearance, including a sci-fi action game (00:23), a lifestyle game (00:26), and a glimpse of the environment of The Getaway 3 (00:30). The second half of the reel also shows concept animation for what is believed to be the cancelled sequel to Heavenly Sword. Binfield’s work portfolio states that he worked on Heavenly Sword 2 doing game design concepting and character animation in 2008 before the game was shelved.
