Google yesterday at its Google’s I/O 2012 event, company’s Sergey Brin come out on stage as Moscone West all of sudden in order to deliver a demo of Google Glass. The Glass at that time was available for pre-order, but only for US-based I/O attendees as of now. It will cost $1,500 and will be shipped only early-next year. There was no word on when it will be available for consumers, but today Google co-founder Sergey Brin told Bloomberg (via CNET) that the “Explorer Edition” of Project Glass will be delivered to the general public a year after that means in 2014. “These Explorer Editions I’d like to get out early next year,” Brin told Bloomberg. “Within a year after that I want to have broad consumer offering.”
