Russian publication Cnews is reporting that the Russian Chamber for Patent Disputes has rejected Apple’s appeal over the Russian Patent Office’s to register iPad design for the second time. The Cupertino-based giant from the past two years trying to get iPad schematic design with first request in April 2012 the company filed with Russian Patent Office, Rospatent.

The official answer to Apple (translated), the chamber believes that the company wants to patent “traditional for modern communication devices, manufactured by different vendors. Inconspicuous differences in dimensions, screen size, and buttons layout are not essential distinction criteria.” We will keep an eye further on this and update you as par what Apple plans to do next over the failed patent approval.
