Seems like Apple got its iPhone 5 wings for Chinese Mainland finally, as Sina Tech reported that two iPhones has received the China Compulsory Certificate approval on Monday, a WCDMA phone model A1429 and a CDMA2000 version of the iPhone with model number A1442.

The company announced the iPhone 5 week ago, featuring a 4 inch display with 1136 X 640 screen resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio, claiming to be as the world’s thinnest smartphone. The phone is 20% lighter than the 4S having retina display with 326 PPI (full specifications can be checked here, while the full review can also be checked here).
