Apple’s recent SEC filing revealed that the Cupertino-based company has hired security giant former Chief Accounting Officer Phillip Bullock to lead Apple’s tax department. On the other hand, Symantec appointed Andrw Del Matto as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer replacing Bullock. The company hasn’t released around Bullock’s appointment, although it could update information on its investor relations website soon.

From the SEC filing:

Phillip A. Bullock, who was appointed as Symantec’s Chief Accounting Officer in September 2009, announced he will be leaving the Company to lead the tax department at Apple, Inc., and not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matters relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
