With legal battle between two tech giants Apple and Samsung quite high, Reuters is reporting that Apple’s CEO Tim Cook never wanted to sue Samsung. It all started in grasp when Samsung start using Google’s Android software to create smartphone and tablets which resemble close to Apple’s iPhone and iPad, which keen on resulting in gaining market share, hurting both Apple’s margins and stock price.
In order to cut Samsung’s vein, Apple first filed a patent-infringement lawsuit against Samsung, and just in time frame of six months it won a “huge” legal victory against its South Korean rival. The publication citing the people with knowledge of the matter stated that Tim Cook was not intended to sue Samsung in the first place as South-Korean giant worked largely as a components supplier for the iPhone and the iPad.
