Apple, Yahoo Reportedly In Talks To Expand iOS Partnership

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple is in talks with Yahoo for deeper iOS partnership, bringing more of the Yahoo’s search data over to the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The Journal reports that the companies are now working towards getting more of Yahoo data on board with Apple’s iOS. This isn’t surprising as Yahoo’s CEO Marissa Mayer very clearly mentioned it earlier that it will be going to be its major part of strategy, which in turn make Yahoo a “predominantly mobile company.”

Interestingly, with time, Apple ditched Google’s Maps and YouTube apps and with now, the competition lays beneath in such a way that both Yahoo and Google standing in front of each other as a direct competitor. This clearly shows that how Yahoo’s relationship nurturing with the iPhone maker. The publication source still says that the deal wasn’t finalized but also believed that it will soon to be finalize and get completed.
