Apple To Set Up Direct Sales And A Retail Store In Russia

According to the Moscow News (via CNET), Apple planning to set up its foot hold in Russia with setting of direct sales and a retail store in the country. The Cupertino-based giant event registered a company name Apple Rus and has assigned it to the company’s local legal adviser, Vitaly Morozko. It is expected that direct sales could begin as soon as 2013, although it’s still not clear when an Apple Store may open. However, Russians are world’s biggest consumers of Apple goods and if this Moscow News turns true and the stores and direct sales really comes into existence, then it would be real big for people out there in the country.
