Apple Moves Its Low-Cost iPhone Manufacturing To Little Known Company Pegatron

With last rumor heard loud and clear that Apple’s key component suppliers Pegatron reportedly increasing its staff by 40% so as to have more people working on the low cost iPhone project. Today we have got another piece of evidence confirming the same, according to the report from The Wall Street Journal; the Cupertino-giant has shifted its supply chain away from Foxconn and Pegatron.

Although the little known Pegatron having long term relationship with Apple, but with today’s report the company will be the primary manufacturer of a new, low-cost iPhone which has been in news from quite some time now. The publication citing an unnamed source says that Apple takes the move because of certain reasons, including quality control crackdown.

Without a doubt the sudden move is big news, but things still considered in vain unless and until something come out as official.
