Apple Confirms The Use Of Corning Glass In Majority Of iPhones

Apple’s confirmed that it uses Corning Gorilla Glass in its product line-up; the company mentioned it during the new page on job creation in the US, as reported on by iMore. The fact is one of the widely accepted facts that the company has never confirmed earlier. Corning Gorilla Glass is thinner, tougher version of everyday glass, is ideal for use in the devices such as iPad and iPhone.

The figure indicates that Corning employees in Kentucky and New York who create the majority of the glass for iPhone, and FedEx and UPS employees, workers in Texas who manufacture processors for iOS products. Well ever since the iPhone came out, company has never confirmed in public that the glass used in the iPhone still came from Corning. This is what to be termed as strange but real.
