Macrumors last week reported that Apple had replaces as many as “App of the X” promotions it had running with an “Editor’s Choice’” banner. The company now has expanded that banner into a more dedicated section, reports TNW. The section constitutes of two sections: new choices and featuring past apps.
The company says that the section is compiled by “recognizing the most innovative apps and the most entertaining games as Editor’s Choice selections.” Apple has also recently started promoting an “App of the Week” each week and that too comes free of cost.
