Apple Announces iPhone 5S

Apple at its press conference announced iPhone 5S along with iPhone 5C. The device is coming in silver, gold and “slate grey” color while it will run on iOS 7. The device if one says in short is an upgraded version to the iPhone 5. Other specs include a new A7 chip, which as per Apple is the first 64-bit chip in a smartphone. Over the battery life, the company says that the device is having up to 250 hours of standby time and 10 hours of LTE browsing.

Talking about the camera, the device cam includes auto-image stabilization, while it features a new iteration to include an F2.2 aperture lens and a dual LED flash. Further, the camera also includes a slow-motion capability. It can take 10fps burst mode photos and having a 120fps 720p slow-motion video mode.

The device also includes much awaited biometric security – a fingerprint scanner. The device’s new sensor comes embedded in the home button and allows secure and faster logins than before. The scanner tech will not come with iPhone 5C.

Now, the price, the device will cost your pocket $199 for 16GB, while $299 for 32GB and $399 for 64GB. All are on a standard two-year contract, naturally. Additionally cases are also present which comes at a cost of $39 a piece in multiple colors.
