Apple Announces Higher iCloud Key Value Store Days Before WWDC

We are just 12 days away from Apple’s WWDC 2012, and the company has informed developers that it has increased the storage limits for the iCloud Key Value Store. The value was previously around 64KB, now the total Key Value Storage is 1MB per app, the single key limit is 1MB and the total key limit is 1024.

This could aid developers of applications that sync small amounts of user data in implementing iCloud synchronization. We believe that the change was made time ago, but announcement was done just days before WWDC.
