Apple Acquires AuthenTech, Fingerprint Sensor Chips Company For $356 Million At $8 Per Share Price

Apple this morning announced that it has entered into an agreement with mobile security firm AuthenTec Inc, the company which makes fingerprint sensor chips used in personal computers, reports Reuters. The Cupertino-based giant agreed to buy AuthenTec for about $356 million, at $8 per share price.
