Anonymous Raises Over $54,798 Through Indiegogo Crowd-Sourced Funding For Its New Dedicated News Site

The hacker group Anonymous through its Indiegogo campaign being able to raised more than $54,798 in a crowd-sourced funding in order to expand its news coverage through a dedicated site, reports The Next Web. The group launched the project with an initial funding target of $2,000 so as to fund parts of the development process and initial hosting, but with grasp of getting that much money, it clearly show how much people love Anonymous.

The Anonymous news site will together bring breaking news, reports and blogs from independent reporters online under its Your Anon News branding. Moreover, the group will allow people to livestream events as they were taking place. The money the group received is from 1,309 backers which again indicates that support for Anonymous is always overwhelming.
