Android 4.1, Android 4.2 Still Makes Pace While Android 4.0 Still To Cross The 30 Percent Mark

Google updated its Platform Versions Web Page for Android on Tuesday, sharing new numbers across the different Android versions on board. According to the latest numbers, Android 4.1 and Android 4.2 are still making pace while Android 4.0 still on the urge to cross even the 30 percent mark, on the other end, Android 2.3 is still on over 45 percent of devices.

The numbers the company shared is based on the number of Android devices which have accessed Google Play within a 14-day period ending on the data collection date. Digging deeper, about 13.6 percent of Android users are now on Android 4.1, 29.0 percent on Android 4.0, 1.3 percent on Android 3.x versions, 45.6 percent are on Android 2.3.x and roughly 8.1 percent are on Android 2.2 version.
