Amazon Unveils Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD In Japan

Spreading out its love for Japan, Amazon today unveiled Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD in the country. The Kindle PaperWhite offers 62% more pixels along with 25% higher contrast as compared to the earlier Kindle models. It further comes with up to 8 weeks of batter life. This all cost your pocket just ¥8,480 while Kindle Paperwhite Wi-Fi + 3G comes at a cost of ¥12,980. And, yes both are available starting from today itself for pre-order from the company website, while shipping begins on November 19.

Talking about Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD, both having stunning customized HD display with in-plane switching, Advanced True Wide polarizing filter and customized laminated touch sensor and all that come along with exceptional battery life of over 11 hours. The tablets further features front-facing HD camera with customized Skype application, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus audio and comes with an option of either 16GB or 32GB of local storage. The price: Kindle Fire for ¥12,800 and Kindle Fire HD for ¥15,800 are available for pre-order today and will begin shipping December 19.
