Amazon never liked to share its sale numbers but today paidContent reported that the company had given permission to go through what Amazon has made in Kindle ebooks sales in the 14 month periods. The interesting to note here that the company has pushed over 2 million copies of the titles, ranging from 5,000 to 30,000 words each – the “interesting” here is that the sales that was made is only from the available 167 singles titles only. Calculating on the revenue front, Amazon gets 30 percent of each sale which comes at a total of $1.12 million in revenue from the time the program’s launch.
