Amazon today opened the doors of its Kindle World Store for both its readers and writers of fan fiction. The company has opened the Store virtual doors with fifty original stories based on topics such as “The Vampire Diaries,” “Gossip Girl,” and “Pretty Little Liars,” with each costing between 99 cents and $3.99 and will be available exclusively to Kindle devices and apps. To browse the store and learn more about Kindle Worlds, visit http://www.amazon.com/kindleworlds.

The platform also gives new authors a change to submit their own piece of fan fiction. In order to do so, they need to go to the Kindle Worlds Store site, and choose a franchise to write and for. Once decided, they need to sign in with their Amazon account credentials and submit their work for review and wait till the time Amazon Publishing to confirm that whether their work meets guidelines or not. Once approved, the work will be published to the Kindle Worlds Store.
